When we first met, neither of us knew what to do. I was 21, you were...already "old."

We had some tough times learning about each other, and by the time we both got over our stubborn natures, you died.

This year I miss you more than anything. All the things I wish you could tell me. About your life, about your decisions, about your goals.

People tell me that I am a spitting image of you...with dreams and goals just like yours. However, your family mostly shuns me because I am not Mormon, and because I was the love-child of your Jack Mormon days. As I struggle to know more about you - the jazz pianist, court-room lawyer, and devoted student of healing - I wonder if we will ever meet in person again.

Right now I know you are close, and that you have been very close of late.

I miss you.

I hope you can see the fireworks in Heaven.

Love and hugs,
Kim-Chi
