Good Morning Internet!

I can officially tell everyone about my little projects.

Your truly has entered the world of filmmaking. Along with this I've been writing and creating fun little things on paper. Today another one of my electronic toys, er, I mean tools will show up on the FedEx truck. I can plod on with what I have, but I still need a digital camcorder. That will come in time (and I'm totally good with begging for donations)...

The first project I'm working on deals with small towns. That is about all I'm going to tell you. :) The other one has to do with mothers and the amazing division lines I see out there. I have some other things up my sleeve, too, but that's all I'm givin' you for now! =)

Before I start begging for grant money, I need some finished project and fulfilled goals. So far things are going very well (oddly), and I'll be rollin' into my hometown sometime in the next two weeks. There are a few things I need (release forms and such) before getting into this fully, along with gathering my nuts in my hands so that I don't get too damn scared. ;)

I haven't felt this alive in years...even the kiddos have noticed a difference. Well, didn't that sound a little bit dramatic... (tee hee) Let's just say I feel all grown up...

That is all I got for this morning - busy, busy day for the old Kimbo.

We have never met in person, but we get each other's e-mail all the time.

He lives in England and I do not - but we do have many other things in common. :)

I have two...

First two people to respond will get 'em.

Post about my trip is coming up.

The most recent recurring dream(s) is about houses - especially my house. Until last night, I'd dreamt about my "house" (the building that I live in during the dream).

I also dream about New Orleans quite a bit.

Dreams have been a big part of my life, so I've studied them extensively (doing interpretations for myself and others). However...the 1.5 month long period dreaming of houses totally has me stumped. Even more perplexing is why they just stopped all of a sudden. While I have an idea...it is a pretty wild one (even for me) and I need to take time to work it out some more. :)

Great subject! :)

I'm seriously thinking about getting a seed account. Chances are...I'll spend that much over the next few years or so...plus I *really* like it here...

Hello there!

This is something I never did on LiveJournal, but think would be a good idea to do on Dreamwidth. :)

My tag line on boards and e-mail lists these days reads:
Radical mom of four. That is all there is. There is nothing more.

While that it amazingly true, it is not the all of who I am. There is more to me than even I understand. ;) So...to keep it easy, let's go with the basics.

~ I'm a 37-year-old mother of 4 who has been interestingly married for 11 years.

~ My life is pretty simple...not because of any agenda, or desire to "be something," but because that type of lifestyle keeps me sane.

~ I used to be a super crunchy parent with the tongue of a snake, the caddiness/cattiness of a high school cheerleader and the ennui of that one college professor you had. But I got better, got real and got healthy. No mama is an island. I've been "crunchy-free" for about 4 years and am so happy about it. :) Over the past year I've just really dug being a mom. :)

~ Outside of my mama life I am a professional tarot reader/psychic and artist. I was going to school to be a holistic healthcare practitioner, but gave it up b/c that is not really what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Writing is my favorite thing in the world...it just takes time I don't seem to have right now. ;)

~ Spiritually I'm a Kimboist. This means I fully believe I have the power to find the Divine in any path that offers up what I need to connect to the Universe and all living things. Buddhism has helped me find peace in my life that no other faith system has been able to do. I'm reading a lot about Native ways (of the Americas and other places).

~ I have been depression free for over 2 years. This has a lot to do with my spiritual path, but a lot to do with getting my body healthy, too.

~ Here is a picture of me - not really that recent, but fun...

And that about wraps it up. Anything else you want to know...just ask!

Here I am...

Me'thinks that I'm going to cut down on some other blogs, and move some of my work stuff over here in another account. Keeping up with social media is literally giving me hand cramps! ;)

After a nice talk with a good friend, and realizing some amazing things...I'm going to write here again (as well as my blogspot site).

As I wrote on my FB page:
Kim Ericksen Upton is going to start writing on LJ again. Why? Because I want to. Will I stop writing at LJ again? I might. Why? Because I want to. For those of you who don't know I'm LiveJournal, you can msg me for my username. Will still be here, but think some well placed filters in LJ land will be good for me right now (thanks to Julie ♥)

There has been so much going on since I've last written here, and if feels very odd to be here. Good...but odd.

Maybe a bit like "A Picture of Dorian Gray"ish.

We will be like gypsies soon, leaving of Ohio, then up the East Coast (starting in North Carolina).

Hi there!

You can find me on WordPress (justkimu)
You can find me on Facebook (Kimberly Ericksen Upton)

I will totally delete this account on March 1, 2009.

It has been fun. It has been real. It is time to move on.

I love you!

for some reason my PC doesn't like LJ.

I hope ththis gets through. :)

Hello all!

Life goes well here...very well. :)

Sadly, life at LJ is next to nothing. Why? Well...many reasons, but the main one is lack of time.

So, I maintain two online social networking sites only these days. One is due to the fact that the girls are there (and it is totally a blast being there), and the other because I like the feel better.

You can find me on Facebook here (or search Kim Upton in Kentucky), and on Blogger here.

After the many attempts of leaving, and the many "please don't go," I feel that it is time for me to move on. :)

Loads of love!

Two words. Oyster. Dressing.

Two items that should never, ever, come together in any form. Ever.

A few years ago I chanted Om Mani Padme Hum until I reached 10,000 chants (on a 108 bead mala).

I'm feeling very much inspired to do the same thing again.

Now...I just need a word count ticker that isn't NaNoWriMo esque. :)

Om Mani Padme Hum.

Lyrics to Mother Heroic :
Oh thou that bowest
Thy ecstatic face
Thy perfect sorrows
Are the world's to keep

Wherefore onto
Thy knee
Come we
With a prayer

Oh thou that bowest
Thy ecstatic face
Thy perfect sorrows
Are the world's to keep

Wherefore onto
Thy knee
Come we
With a prayer

Mother heroic
Mother glorious

Beholding in thy eye
Immortal tears

Oh thou that bowest
Thy ecstatic face
